 Kevin Earp - Founder

Kevin has over 20 years experience working with educational organizations in Safety and Facilities. He began his career at West Virginia University where he obtained both a B.S.degree in Sport Management and a Master of Science degree in Safety Management. After working for one season in minor league baseball he became the first Safety Specialist for Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC.  In 1997 he accepted the position of Director of Safety for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District overseeing the districts Safety Department for 170+ Schools and 19,000+ employees. He also is contracted by the Charlotte Bobcats of the NBA for game operations. Kevin has been a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers since 1995 and currently serves as the President of the Tarheel Chapter.

Laura Earp Salfia - Health Services

Laura earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia University and went on to become a classroom teacher for both Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Charlotte Area Catholic Schools. A mother of 3 children she left the classroom to be with her family and transitioned into a career overseeing CPR/First-Aid/AED Instruction for the Charlotte office of Interim Health Care. In 2007 she went to work in the same capacity for Quantum Sports. Specializing in the training of school employees, she has issued over 2,500 certifications and achieved an incredible satisfaction rating of close to 100%.  

Brad Earp - Media Services 

After attending West Virginia University Brad embarked on a 25 year + career with Federal Express. He produces all Earp Safety media through his Dark Down Here Studios brand. Brad's professional work has been featured on local television in West Virginia as well as various internet sites.  

Britt Earp - Hospitality Services 

Another Earp who attended West Virginia University, Britt pursued a career in restaurant management working for national restaurant chains including Applebee's and Chili's. Britt oversees food services, room set-up and logistics at major Earp Safety events. 

Marissa Salfia - Senior Photographer

Marissa provides each Graduate of Earp Safety Seminars with electronic photographs of their participation in the interactive activity portion of Earp Seminars, an individual photo of them receiving their CEU's and Diploma from Mr. Earp during the Graduating Ceremony and a graduating class group photo.
